We are a self-funding RSPCA Branch which has to raise over £170,000 each year to continue helping local animals in need and it is thanks to kind supporters like yourself that we are able to do this. In Person
We receive many hundreds of pounds from people who drop off their spare change or collections here at RSPCA Bluebell Ridge, Chowns Hill, Hastings, TN35 4PA. If you fill out a Gift Aid form at the same time, this will enable us to claim a further 25 pence for every pound that you donate. (Gift Aid claims are for UK tax payers only)
Gift Aid
Make your donations go further with Gift Aid.
As a UK taxpayer you will pay tax on your earnings, savings or pensions, at either a basic rate of 20% or a higher rate of 40%. If you make a donation to charity, this donation will come from money that you have already paid tax on. As a charity, we can reclaim this tax back from the Government. This means that if you donate £20, and use Gift Aid, it’s actually worth £25. And because this additional money comes to us straight from the government, not out of your pocket, you would still only be giving us £20 of your own money.
You can use Gift Aid if the amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax you’ve paid in any tax year covers the amount of tax we will reclaim on your donations. For advice on how to check if you’ve paid enough tax to use Gift Aid, visit the HMRC website.
