Bluebell Ridge
There are many interesting and exciting possibilities for Volunteering at Bluebell Ridge. Every day includes a busy routine of cleaning, feeding and socialising with the cats. Due to certain regulations, you must be over 16 years of age to volunteer at the centre.
Current Volunteering Opportunities
Charity Shop Volunteer
We are looking for volunteers who can help one morning, or afternoon, each week in our RSPCA shop on Western Road, Bexhill.
Our charity shop is a great place to volunteer, offering the opportunity to learn new skills, and meet other animal lovers.
We would love to hear from you if you have a spare morning or afternoon which you can use to help our animal welfare charity. You will need to be confident at dealing with the public as well as taking payment for items.

Gardening Volunteer
We are looking for Volunteers to help keep the gardens and grounds at Bluebell Ridge presentable. Could you spare a few hours each week to help us?
You will be involved in tidying the grounds, weeding, clearing and keeping the paths accessible. Naturally, the work is quite physical and takes place outside, so you need to be comfortable with this. You would only be required for 1-2 hours each week on a day of your choice.

Morning Cattery Volunteers
We are looking for volunteers who can help with morning routines in the cattery.
The work can be strenuous and physical, but you will get to interact with the cats.
The work includes cleaning the cat’s accommodation and cleaning out litter trays.
We are looking for volunteers that can commit to at least one day a week every week. The hours that you will be needed for our 9am till 11am (if you can offer to stay longer to help with any additional duties that is always appreciated but not required).

Our Charity Shop in Bexhill
