Meet The Team

Centre Manager

Myra has worked at the cattery since 2001 and has been manager since 2010. She has seen the centre evolve from strength to strength. Myra has great pleasure in knowing that the cats are reserved and watching them going off to their new homes. As well as owning one needy Bluebell Ridge cat she is also a great dog lover and has an RSPCA Staffie.


Acting Deputy Manager

Gemma started as a volunteer in 2002 and then quickly became a member of staff. She now works part time due to having a family. Gemma uses her experience and knowledge and gets involved with the daily running of the centre. She has a lovely cat called Willow.


Cattery Supervisor 

Kate started as a volunteer in 2004 and became a permanent full time member of staff in 2009. Kate co-ordinates the vet visits and also has a keen interest in feline behaviour. She has three cats, Tiny, Winnie and Murray, all adopted from Bluebell Ridge.

Animal Care Assistant

Karen is an Animal Care Assistant at the centre and she joined the team in February 2016. She has several years of experience of working with animals and has a dog called Winnie and three cats called Frank, Tucker and Kip.


Animal Care Assistant

Karen previously volunteered and worked at the centre from 2005 until 2011 and she returned in October 2016 as a Animal Care Assistant. She has two cats called Riley and Jojo from Bluebell Ridge, as well as two dogs named Bear and Bella who is a Pets as Therapy dog.

Animal Care Assistant

Bekki is an Animal Care Assistant at the centre, she joined the team in March 2022. She has several years of experience working in the rescue world, with a variety of animals. Bekki has 3 dogs Kairi, Darwin and Archie and 2 cats Saffy and Khaleesi.

Animal Care Assistant

Sheryl started as a volunteer at the Centre in 2010 and joined the Team as a part-time Animal Care Assistant in March 2022. Sheryl has always had a great love of cats and a passion for animal welfare. She has two cats of her own and three dogs.
